Ms. Incognito Hits Record Ratings While Nice To Not Meet You Makes Strong Debut

The K-drama landscape just witnessed an exciting shift as Ms. Incognito achieved its highest viewership ratings ever, while newcomer Nice To Not Meet You launched with impressive numbers. Korean television is heating up, and these two shows are leading the charge!

Ms. Incognito: Ratings Breakdown at a Glance

Ms. Incognito’s Triumphant Climb

ENA’s Ms. Incognito has been steadily capturing hearts throughout its run, and the penultimate episode delivered a massive surge in viewership. According to Nielsen Korea, the show jumped to an impressive 6.3 percent average nationwide rating—a significant 1.2 percent increase from the previous week’s 5.1 percent.

This milestone represents the show’s highest rating to date, proving that compelling storytelling builds momentum. As the drama approaches its finale, viewers are clearly invested in seeing how the story concludes, demonstrating the power of strong narrative arcs in Korean dramas.

The timing couldn’t be better. Hitting peak ratings right before the finale creates the perfect crescendo, rewarding dedicated fans while attracting curious new viewers who want to see what the buzz is about. You can catch up on Ms. Incognito on Viki before the final episode airs.

Nice To Not Meet You Enters Strong

Meanwhile, tvN rolled out its new Monday-Tuesday drama Nice To Not Meet You, and the premiere numbers suggest another hit in the making. The show debuted with a solid 5.5 percent nationwide rating—an encouraging start that puts it in competitive territory right out of the gate.

What’s the Show About?

This romantic comedy serves up a delicious love-hate dynamic between two contrasting personalities:

Lim Hyeon Jun (played by the legendary Lee Jung Jae) is an A-list actor who’s become disconnected from reality and his humble beginnings. His world of glitz and glamour is about to collide with someone who doesn’t buy into the Hollywood façade.

Wi Jeong Sin (portrayed by Lim Ji Yeon) is a fierce, award-winning political journalist known for her relentless pursuit of truth and justice. After getting demoted to the entertainment desk—a position she considers beneath her caliber—she finds herself covering the very celebrity world she despises.

The premise alone promises sparks, wit, and the kind of chemistry that makes K-drama romances so addictive. With Lee Jung Jae’s star power (fresh off his Squid Game global success) and Lim Ji Yeon’s proven acting chops, this pairing has K-drama fans buzzing with anticipation.

Why These Numbers Matter

In the competitive world of Korean television, ratings tell important stories. Ms. Incognito’s upward trajectory demonstrates audience loyalty and word-of-mouth effectiveness—viewers aren’t just watching; they’re recommending it to friends.

For Nice To Not Meet You, launching at 5.5 percent is particularly noteworthy. New dramas typically need time to find their audience, but starting strong indicates effective marketing and genuine interest in the cast and premise. If the show maintains quality storytelling, these numbers could climb significantly.

The Monday-Tuesday Drama Battle

With Ms. Incognito ending and Nice To Not Meet You beginning, tvN is strategically positioned to capture the Monday-Tuesday timeslot audience. This transition period is crucial—networks hope viewers will seamlessly move from one show to the next, maintaining channel loyalty.

The close ratings (6.3% vs. 5.5%) suggest healthy competition that ultimately benefits viewers. When networks compete, production quality rises, and we get better content across the board.
