Galaxy S26 Ultra Display: Game-Changing Upgrades Revealed

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra is set to deliver the most advanced smartphone display ever created, with groundbreaking privacy features and next-generation OLED technology that leaves competitors in the dust.

Revolutionary Display Specifications

The S26 Ultra will feature Samsung Display’s M14 OLED panel with CoE (Color filter on encapsulation) technology, pushing brightness beyond 2,600 nits while dramatically reducing power consumption. The display boasts a 6.85-inch QHD+ resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate, delivering buttery-smooth scrolling and gaming.

AI-Powered Privacy Display Technology

The S26 Ultra introduces an AI Privacy Display powered by Flex Magic Pixel technology, which restricts viewing angles to protect on-screen content from prying eyes. This built-in privacy filter eliminates the need for third-party screen protectors, making it ideal for business professionals and travelers handling sensitive information.

What Makes M14 + CoE Special?

Unlike current M13-based panels which use polarizers that add thickness and increase energy use, CoE builds the color filter directly into the OLED encapsulation layer, with a new Black Pixel Define Layer that further reduces reflections.

Key Benefits:

• 44% lower power consumption
• 50% longer screen lifespan
• Thinner, brighter panel design
• Enhanced anti-reflective coating
• Improved outdoor visibility

Camera Upgrades Expected Too

Beyond the display revolution, the main, ultrawide, and 3x telephoto cameras are rumored to receive significant improvements, though specifics remain under wraps as Samsung finalizes the specifications.

The S26 Pro and S26 Edge will stick with older M13 OLED technology, making these display upgrades exclusive to the Ultra model.
