Jin’s RunSeokjin Encore: The “Holy Trinity” Reunites for Epic Super Tuna Performance

When BTS members become backup dancers for each other, magic happens! Jin’s RunSeokjin EP Tour came to a spectacular close with two encore concerts at Incheon Munhak Stadium on October 31 and November 1, 2025, but what made these shows truly unforgettable was the surprise appearance of Jungkook and J-Hope. The trio transformed Jin’s viral hit “Super Tuna” into what fans are now calling “the holy trinity” moment—complete with water fights, costume swaps, and the most expensive backup dancers in K-pop history.

RunSeokjin Encore Concert Quick Facts

The Most Expensive Backup Dancers in K-Pop

One of the night’s biggest highlights came during “Super Tuna,” when J-Hope and Jungkook joined Jin on stage as his backup dancers. What made this performance absolutely legendary? Jin performed dressed in J-Hope’s iconic “Jack in the Box” era outfit—complete with the black crochet jester hat—while his two “pricey dancers” matched his energy through the song’s playful choreography.

As the song reached its climax, Jin literally jumped into the arms of both members, creating a moment that sent the stadium into absolute pandemonium. Fans immediately dubbed them “the holy trinity of chaos, charm, and pure joy,” with social media exploding with reactions. One fan perfectly captured the sentiment: “Only Jin can pull this up! Making the 2 members as his backup dancers! The supportive 2 brothers.”

J-Hope humorously explained his appearance: “Since Jin came to my concert, I felt it was only right and polite to come here,” showcasing the beautiful bond between BTS members who consistently support each other’s solo endeavors.

Water Fight Chaos and BTS Group Performances

The trio’s mischievous energy peaked during “So What,” where they recreated BTS’ signature water fight tradition. Running around the stage, laughing breathlessly, and completely soaking each other—all while maintaining perfect vocals—the three members gave fans a taste of what they’ve missed during the group’s hiatus.

Beyond “Super Tuna,” Jungkook and J-Hope joined Jin for a powerful medley of BTS classics including “IDOL,” “My Universe,” and their emotional unit track “Jamais Vu.” The last song particularly moved fans, as it marked the first time in years they performed this track together. The energy and chemistry reminded everyone why BTS became a global phenomenon.

Solo Spotlight Moments

Before joining Jin for group performances, both Jungkook and J-Hope delivered show-stopping solo stages. Jungkook performed “Standing Next to You” from his album Golden—his first live performance in two years since military enlistment—drawing thunderous cheers and proving his skills remained razor-sharp despite the hiatus.

J-Hope followed with “Killin’ It Girl,” showcasing the dynamic performance style that has made him one of K-pop’s most respected dancers and performers. Jin praised both performances afterward, saying they seemed like “gods” on stage.

Day 2’s Even Bigger Reunion

If Day 1 was incredible, Day 2 exceeded all expectations. V joined the lineup performing his smooth solo track “Love Me Again,” while Jimin also made a surprise appearance. The expanded BTS reunion created an even more powerful medley of group hits, intensifying fans’ longing for the full OT7 (all seven members) return.

Jin’s Emotional Journey Through the Air

In a touching moment that showcased Jin’s growth beyond his “scaredy cat” reputation, he rode a Wootteo character hot-air balloon above the crowd during his emotional ballad “Moon.” Despite admitting his fear of heights, he wanted to create something different and connect with fans in every section of the massive stadium. The sight of thousands of ARMY Bombs (BTS’ official lightsticks) glinting below moved both Jin and fans to tears.

Tour Milestones and Concert Movie Announcement

Jin’s RunSeokjin EP Tour, which supported his albums Happy and Echo, achieved remarkable milestones. He became the first Korean soloist to headline London’s prestigious O2 Arena, sold out Anaheim’s Honda Center with the tour’s biggest turnout, and made history at Dallas’ American Airlines Center.

As the final encore concert concluded, Jin surprised fans with the announcement of #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR THE MOVIE, scheduled for release in December 2025. This concert film will allow fans worldwide to relive the magic of the tour.
