BLACKPINK’s Lisa stunned fans worldwide this Halloween with an extraordinary transformation into the Golden Woman from Netflix’s critically acclaimed animated series Love, Death + Robots. The K-pop superstar shared her elaborate costume on Instagram, featuring an ornate jumpsuit adorned with full-body chains, beads, and layered metallic fringe, paired with dramatic makeup and an elaborate headpiece.
BLACKPINK Lisa’s Halloween Masterpiece
The costume draws inspiration from “Jibaro,” an Emmy-winning episode directed by Alberto Mielgo that tells a wordless story exploring greed and exploitation through the tale of a deaf knight and a deadly siren. The episode’s haunting visual storytelling earned widespread critical acclaim and multiple awards for its breathtaking animation style.
| Costume Element | Details |
|---|---|
| Main Outfit | Gold jumpsuit with intricate chains and metallic fringe |
| Headpiece | Layered golden ornaments resembling ancient crown |
| Makeup | Rosy and periwinkle eyeshadow with bejeweled red lips |
| Hair | Sleek black bob with blunt bangs |
| Overall Vibe | Shimmering, otherworldly siren aesthetic |
Fan Reactions and Social Media Frenzy
The artistic homage instantly captivated fans who called her “iconic,” with her TikTok clip and photos quickly shared and widely circulated across platforms. Admirers praised the unexpected choice, noting Lisa’s attention to detail and creative execution. Many fans expressed surprise at her decision to recreate such a complex and symbolically rich character rather than opting for more conventional Halloween choices.
The level of craftsmanship in Lisa’s costume showcased her commitment to bringing the character to life. Every element—from the gold chains to the dramatic makeup—was meticulously designed to capture the essence of the mysterious siren.
Lisa’s Expanding Creative Portfolio
Beyond her Halloween transformation, Lisa recently released her highly anticipated solo album Alter Ego in February and signed a global touring deal with Wasserman Music this month. She also made her acting debut in The White Lotus Season 3, proving her versatility extends far beyond music.
This Halloween look adds another chapter to Lisa’s reputation for bold fashion statements and cultural references. Whether she’s performing on stage or celebrating holidays, the BLACKPINK member consistently pushes creative boundaries and captivates audiences worldwide.
For fans looking to explore more K-pop content and stay updated on Lisa’s latest projects, this Halloween transformation serves as a reminder of why she remains one of the most influential figures in global pop culture.
