Money-Saving Strategies

1. Raid Your Club First

Check untradeable duplicates before buying anything. Most players have fodder from:

Marquee Matchups rewards
Division Rivals packs
Weekend League duplicates
Previous SBC packs

2. Snipe During Content Drops

Player prices drop 10-20% during:

6 PM UK daily content release
Weekend League rewards (Thursdays)
Division Rivals rewards (Thursdays)

3. Compare TOTW Options

While Welbeck covers both requirements, other low-rated TOTW cards might be cheaper:

Check 81-82 rated TOTW players
Filter by position you need
Calculate total cost with alternative lineups

4. Use Loan Players?

No. Loan items don’t count for SBCs—only permanent cards qualify.

Is Krejci Worth Completing?

Standout Stats & PlayStyles

Defensive Prowess:

Elite tackling and interceptions
6’1″ height for aerial dominance
Strong physical presence (Bruiser PlayStyle)

PlayStyles Breakdown:

Pinged Pass: Long-range passing accuracy boost—perfect for counter-attacks
Anticipate: Better defensive positioning, intercepts passes before they arrive
Bruiser: Wins physical duels against stronger opponents
Aerial Fortress: Dominates headers in both boxes

Positional Flexibility: Deploy Krejci as:

Defensive midfielder (CDM/CM)
Box-to-box midfielder with Shadow chemistry
Emergency center-back in 3/5 back formations

Meta Value Assessment

At 16,000 coins, Krejci costs less than most 83-rated fodder while delivering 85 overall performance. His Premier League chemistry links (via Girona card) make him perfect for:

Hybrid Squads: La Liga + Premier League connections
Budget Teams: Elite stats without icon pricing
SBC Fodder: 85-rated card for future high-rated challenges

Verdict: Complete immediately. Even non-users benefit from 85-rated fodder at this price point.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Long Is the Ladislav Krejci Ultimate Scream SBC Available?

The SBC timer appears in-game under the challenge screen. Most Ultimate Scream player SBCs last 3-7 days, but EA Sports doesn’t guarantee specific expiry times. Check daily content at 6 PM UK time for updates. If you’re considering completing this challenge, don’t wait until the final hours—market prices often spike when SBCs near expiration as demand increases and supply decreases. Complete within 24-48 hours of release for the most stable pricing.

Can I Use Ladislav Krejci in Icon SBCs Later?

Yes, Krejci’s 85 overall rating makes him valuable fodder for future Icon SBCs, which typically require multiple high-rated squads (84-87 OVR). At 16,000 coins, he’s cheaper than buying an 85-rated card from the transfer market when Icon SBCs drop. Even if you don’t use him in your squad, keeping him as untradeable fodder for Prime Icon Moments or special SBCs provides excellent long-term value. Many players complete affordable SBCs like this specifically to stockpile high-rated fodder.
