4 Proven Ways to Get New Weapons

1. The Secret Letters Strategy

This is your bread-and-butter method for free-to-play progression. Here’s how it works:

Collect 10 Secret Letter Clues from Daily Commissions, Main Story quests, Side quests, and Achievements. You can also grab complete Secret Letters from game modes like Nocturnal Echoes, Mystic Maze, and Immersive Theatre.

Once you’ve gathered clues, visit the in-game shop’s Covert Commissions tab and select your desired weapon. After purchasing the Secret Letter, head to Weapon Covert Commissions and complete the challenge. You’ll have a 10% chance of scoring that blueprint—persistence is key!

2. Blueprint Forging: The Crafting Route

Got blueprints from various challenges? Don’t let them collect dust! The Forge menu is where magic happens. Simply gather the required materials (earned through gameplay) and craft your weapon. This method gives you control over which weapons you prioritize.

3. Premium Purchase with Phoxene Plumule

4. Event Rewards: Limited-Time Opportunities

Keep your eyes on special events! Notable rewards include:

Ironforger Greatsword at Trial Rank 15
Flamme De Epuration assault rifle from Beginner’s Guide challenges
Arclight Apocalypses bow at Trial Rank 45 (Bon Voyage event)

These event weapons are often exclusive and powerful, making them worth the effort. Stay updated with our latest gaming events coverage to never miss out.

Pro Tips for Weapon Collectors

Prioritize daily activities. Secret Letter Clues accumulate faster when you consistently complete dailies. Make it a habit to log in daily—even 15 minutes makes a difference.

Don’t ignore events. Limited-time weapons might never return, so participate actively in all launch events and seasonal celebrations.

Plan your resources. Before crafting, ensure you have all required materials. Nothing’s worse than having a blueprint but missing that one crucial component!

FAQs

Can I get high-tier weapons without spending money?

Absolutely! The Secret Letters system and event rewards provide access to quality weapons for completely free. It requires more time investment, but many top-tier players build impressive arsenals without spending a penny. Focus on daily commissions and participate in every event to maximize your free weapon collection.

What’s the fastest way to get a specific weapon I want?

If you need a particular weapon quickly, combine the Secret Letters method with the Covert Commissions system. Select your desired weapon blueprint from the shop, then repeatedly complete the challenges. While the 10% drop rate means you might need multiple attempts, this targeted approach beats random farming. Alternatively, if time is more valuable than money, purchasing with Phoxene Plumule guarantees instant acquisition.
