Version 3.7 of Honkai Star Rail isn’t just about new characters and story arcs—it’s bringing practical improvements that fundamentally change how you grind, level up, and manage your roster. These quality-of-life upgrades streamline farming, character building, and resource management, letting you spend more time enjoying the game and less time clicking through menus.

What’s New in Honkai Star Rail 3.7?

The update introduces material farming optimizations, quick character leveling features, and Light Cone enhancement improvements that address longtime player frustrations. Here’s what makes this version special.

Feature	What It Does	Time Saved
Bulk Farming	Complete Echo of War, Planar Extraction, Cavern of Corrosion, and Stagnant Shadow multiple times in one session	5-10 minutes per run
Extended Calyx Runs	Farm Calyxes 24 consecutive times, increased from six	15-20 minutes daily
Quick Level-Up	Upgrade a character’s ability from current level to maximum using available inventory materials instantly	2-3 minutes per character
Light Cone Stacking	Stack unenhanced 3-star Light Cones during upgrades without salvaging first	30 seconds per enhancement
Fuel Voucher Skip	Use Fuel Vouchers to skip combat in Golden/Crimson Calyx and Stagnant Shadow activities	Varies by activity

Revolutionary Bulk Farming System

The standout improvement is the bulk farming capability. Trailblazers can now clear Echo of War, Planar Extraction, Cavern of Corrosion, and Stagnant Shadow multiple times without exiting and re-entering. This eliminates repetitive menu navigation and loading screens that previously made farming tedious.

For daily Calyx runs specifically, the consecutive farm limit increases from six to 24 attempts at once—perfect for stockpiling character ascension materials or trace materials during double-drop events.

Smart Character Building Features

Quick Level-Up Function
This feature allows players to upgrade a specific character ability from its current level to the highest possible level based on available inventory materials. No more manual calculation or guesswork about whether you have enough materials.

Light Cone Enhancement Overhaul
The Light Cone system receives two major improvements. First, players can now stack unenhanced 3-star Light Cones during weapon upgrades without salvaging them beforehand. Second, when switching to a different Light Cone, players can sort by recommendation to find the best synergy match with the character.

Improved Reward Tracking

The Conventional Memoir integrates into the Reward Guide page in version 3.7. This centralized system lets you track event progress and—most importantly—monitor your remaining Stellar Jades across all active content, helping you plan pulls more effectively.

Why These Updates Matter

These aren’t flashy changes, but they respect your time. Daily tasks that previously required 30-40 minutes of menu navigation and loading screens now take 15-20 minutes. Character building becomes intuitive rather than tedious. The quality-of-life philosophy shows HoYoverse listening to veteran players who’ve been requesting streamlined systems since launch.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the bulk farming consume all my Trailblaze Power at once?

Yes, bulk farming deducts the total Trailblaze Power required for all selected runs upfront. Make sure you have enough stamina before starting, as you can’t partially complete bulk runs. The system protects you from over-spending by showing the total cost before confirmation.

Can I use the Quick Level-Up feature if I don’t have all materials?

Absolutely. The Quick Level-Up function automatically calculates the highest achievable level based on your current inventory. If you’re missing materials, it will level the ability as far as possible with what you have, then show exactly what you need to continue upgrading.
