Avatar: Fire and Ash – Rumored Spider-Man 4 Trailer and All Trailers Attached to the Upcoming Film

James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, the highly anticipated third installment in the Avatar saga, is set to dominate the box office when it releases on December 19, 2025. As excitement builds for Pandora’s fiery new chapter, fans are buzzing about the potential Spider-Man 4 teaser rumored to play before the film’s theatrical screenings.

According to Sportskeeda and multiple insider sources, Avatar: Fire and Ash will not only bring back Jake Sully’s (Sam Worthington) next battle on Pandora but could also serve as the launchpad for several major Hollywood trailers, including one of the most requested — Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Everything We Know About Avatar: Fire and Ash

Directed by James Cameron, the film follows Jake and Neytiri’s family as they face a new threat: the Ash People, a warlike Na’vi tribe led by the fierce and enigmatic Varang (portrayed by Oona Chaplin). Set after the devastating events of Avatar: The Way of Water, the story explores grief, family, and unity against fire-driven enemies who challenge Pandora’s spiritual balance.

The three-hour epic was filmed almost entirely in New Zealand with cutting-edge motion capture technology and is produced by 20th Century Studios and Lightstorm Entertainment.

Official Release Information

Official teasers from 20th Century Studios and Avatar.com hint that this will be the most intense and emotional entry in the saga so far.

Rumored Trailers Before Avatar: Fire and Ash

1. Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026)

The biggest rumor surrounding Avatar: Fire and Ash is that it will feature the first teaser for Spider-Man: Brand New Day (unofficially referred to as Spider-Man 4).

According to TrailerTrack, insiders claim Disney and Sony are negotiating to premiere the teaser in conjunction with Avatar: Fire and Ash due to their calendar synergy under the Marvel Studios banner.

The speculation gained traction after posts by reputable online sources like MCU Portal hinted that Tom Holland’s next Spider-Man outing could connect to broader MCU events teased in Avengers: Doomsday — another trailer expected to feature alongside Avatar.

If true, this move mirrors the 2022 strategy when Marvel Studios premiered Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania‘s first trailer ahead of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

2. Avengers: Doomsday (2026)

The next timeline-shaping MCU event, Avengers: Doomsday, is one of Disney’s biggest releases of 2026. Reports suggest its new teaser could accompany Avatar: Fire and Ash screenings to maximize global reach before fan-heavy crowds.

3. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2026)

20th Century Studios plans to attach its upcoming Planet of the Apes sequel as a cross-promotion with Avatar: Fire and Ash. Given both films share production overlap, this aligns with Disney’s marketing synergy approach.

4. Deadpool & Wolverine – Extended Cut

A new extended teaser or deleted-scene compilation featuring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman may also roll alongside Avatar, appealing to shared adult audiences.

Scenes include Kiri’s evolving spiritual powers, Jake’s rematch with Colonel Quaritch, and explosive aerial battles between water and fire tribes.

That said, the trailer’s ending line — “Your goddess has no dominion here” — hints at a darker shift in Pandora’s mythos.
