Valorant players, get ready for some exciting changes! Patch 11.07 is dropping just in time for the VCT 2025 finals, and while it’s not heavy on balance changes, it’s packed with visual clarity improvements that could genuinely impact your gameplay. Plus, Riot Games is teasing a mysterious new custom game mode set to debut on October 3, 2025.

Valorant Patch 11.07 Quick Overview

Cypher Mains, Your Prayers Have Been Answered

If you’ve ever played Cypher and experienced those frustrating visual glitches with Spycam, relief is finally here. Riot has addressed the long-standing issue where rapid camera usage caused visual bugs that made players miss critical enemy movements.

What’s Fixed:

• No more visual glitches when checking camera frequently
• Clearer information display for enemy positioning
• Massive quality-of-life improvement for competitive play

This fix is particularly crucial for pro players who rely on precise intel gathering during high-stakes matches.

Waylay Gets a Clarity Boost

Waylay’s Convergent Paths now feature enhanced visuals showing exact boundaries. No more guessing where the edges are during intense firefights—you’ll see precisely where to dodge, giving both attackers and defenders a fair advantage.

Universal Ability Consistency Changes

Riot is standardizing how abilities appear across all agents, making the game more intuitive. Here’s what’s new:

Teal Glow for Reactivatable Abilities

Abilities that can be placed and reactivated now display a distinctive teal color, including:

• Chamber’s Trademark
• Killjoy’s Nanoswarm
• Vyse’s Razorvine
• Yoru’s Gatecrash

Enhanced Minimap Information

Controllable utilities and drones now show on the minimap with:

• Directional arrows indicating facing
• Color-coded ally/enemy identification
• New “seeking” state when locking targets

This affects Fade’s Prowler, Raze’s Boom Bot (newly added), Gekko’s Wingman and Thrash, Skye’s abilities, and Sova’s Owl Drone.

Mystery Game Mode Incoming

The most exciting tease? A brand-new custom game mode arrives October 3, 2025. Riot is keeping details under wraps until the Champions Finals Weekend, but content creators and pros will reportedly showcase it during VCT Finals.

This strategic reveal timing suggests something significant—possibly a mode that could eventually join the competitive rotation. The community is already buzzing with speculation about what it could be.
