BTS V’s Livestream Challenge Gets Adorably Failed Response from TWS Members Dohoon and Kyungmin

When BTS’s V issued a call for K-pop artists to join him for a simultaneous livestream, he probably didn’t expect such an endearingly clumsy response! TWS members Dohoon and Kyungmin’s attempt to answer V’s challenge has gone viral for all the right reasons, showcasing the genuine excitement rookie idols feel when senior artists reach out.

BTS V Livestream Challenge That Started It All

On September 17 KST, BTS member V shared a new Weverse Moment asking fans to help him find “an outside artist, not one of his own” to join him for a collaborative livestream. The Wooga Squad member’s casual request sent ripples through the K-pop community, with many artists and fans wondering who would step up to the challenge.

V’s idea of simultaneous streaming represents a fun way for artists to interact with fans while creating unique cross-fandom moments that K-pop enthusiasts love.

TWS Members’ Adorable Attempt Goes Viral

The rookie group TWS, known for their “boyhood pop” concept, decided to shoot their shot. However, their response became internet gold when Dohoon and Kyungmin’s comment attempt hilariously failed to post properly on V’s Weverse moment.

Meet TWS: The Rising Stars Behind the Viral Moment

Why This Interaction Matters in K-Pop

Sunbae-Hoobae Dynamics: The interaction perfectly showcases the respectful yet eager dynamic between senior and junior artists in K-pop. V’s openness to collaborate with newer artists demonstrates the supportive culture within the industry.

Fan Engagement: Both BTS ARMY and TWS fans found the interaction heartwarming, creating positive cross-fandom moments that strengthen the K-pop community overall.

Rookie Group Recognition: For TWS, attempting to respond to V’s challenge brought them significant attention and showed their courage in reaching out to one of K-pop’s biggest stars.

The Technical Fail That Won Hearts

What made this moment so endearing wasn’t success—it was the failure! The fact that Dohoon and Kyungmin’s comment didn’t work properly made their attempt seem more genuine and relatable. Fans across social media platforms celebrated their earnest effort, proving that authenticity resonates more than perfection.

Social Media Buzz: The “failed” response generated more positive attention than a successful comment might have, demonstrating how genuine moments create lasting impact.

BTS V’s Collaborative Spirit

This isn’t the first time V has shown interest in connecting with other artists. His collaborative approach and willingness to include newer groups reflects his maturity as a senior artist and his genuine love for music and community building.

Leadership by Example: By reaching out for collaborative content, V models how established artists can support the broader K-pop ecosystem.

TWS: More Than Just a Viral Moment

While their response to V went viral, TWS has been steadily building their reputation since their January 2024 debut. Their “boyhood pop” music style focuses on depicting authentic daily experiences, which aligns perfectly with their genuine, unfiltered response to V’s challenge.

Recent Success: The group has been gaining traction with their authentic approach to music and interactions with fans and fellow artists.

What’s Next?

While V’s livestream collaboration search continues, the TWS interaction has already created a beautiful moment in K-pop history. Whether or not the technical issues get resolved, the genuine excitement and respect shown by the rookie members has won hearts across fandoms.
