Best Lanturn EX Deck Guide: Master the Status Control Meta in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Lanturn EX has emerged as one of the most intriguing control decks in Pokémon TCG Pocket’s current meta. With its unique Flashing Signal move that guarantees status conditions, this Electric-type powerhouse offers a refreshing alternative to traditional aggro strategies. Whether you flip heads for paralysis or tails for confusion, your opponent will always face disruption.

Pokémon TCG Core Deck Strategy

The Lanturn EX deck revolves around status control and energy acceleration. Your primary gameplan focuses on setting up Lanturn EX while using Zeraora as an early-game attacker and energy accelerator. The beauty of this deck lies in its guaranteed status infliction – no matter how the coin flip lands, your opponent’s Active Pokémon suffers.

Energy Requirements & Consistency

While Flashing Signal requires three energy (1 Lightning + 2 Colorless), the 80 damage output combined with guaranteed status effects provides excellent value. Zeraora’s Thunderclap Flash helps meet these requirements efficiently, making the deck more consistent than initial energy costs suggest.

The combination of energy acceleration and status control creates a unique playstyle that rewards patient, strategic gameplay over raw aggression.
