2025 Hyundai Venue: Upcoming Features, Design Updates, and Production Plans Revealed

The Venue is the Hyundai brand’s second-best seller in India after the Creta, holding more than 18% of the brand´s sales. The Venue was also just updated for the 2022 model year, and so an all-new model is expected on sale next year.

The Upcoming New 2025 Hyundai Venue

Though the latest test vehicle is quite clearly camouflaged, visible updates recently revealed by some spy shots courtesy of Kolesa.ru ahead of its impending launch. Up front, there’s a new grille and updated full-LED headlights. Notably, however, the LED daytime running lights (DRLs) feature a similar design to those of Casper Electric and both the front and rear bumpers have been revised. With the revised lower grille, a hint of the Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) that are anticipated in the2025 Venue.

Back then, Level 1 ADAS are what the Venue had, including such concerns as forward collision alert (FCA), lane-departure warning (LDWS), Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Following Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Leading Vehicle Departure Alert and High Beam Assist. The level 2 ADAS package is expected to bring more advanced safety features on the new-generation Venue.

The test mule comes equipped with new 16-inch alloy wheels on each side followed with 215/60 MRF tires to provide minimum drag. Aesthetically, the 2025 Venue hasn’t changed much beyond minor elements such as improved light groups. The tail lamps at there rear also look to have been slightly updated.

Spy photos reveal entirely new seats and a fresh interior theme, although the dashboard remains unseen. Following industry trends, it’s expected that top-spec variants of the new-generation Venue will feature an integrated dual-screen layout similar to that of the new Creta. Additionally, a panoramic sunroof is anticipated, replacing the current single-pane sunroof. The Mahindra XUV3XO was the first sub-4-meter SUV to offer a panoramic sunroof, and more recently, the Tata Nexon has also added this feature in its PS variants.

The engine options for the new-generation Venue are expected to mirror those of the current model. While diesel engines are facing scrutiny due to emission regulations, Hyundai is likely to retain the 1.5-liter CRDi VGT engine, producing 116 PS and 250 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Venue’s 1.2-liter petrol engine delivers 83 PS and 113.8 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine generates 120 PS and 172 Nm, with transmission options including a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT.

Hyundai is expected to begin production of the new-generation Venue (codenamed: QU2i) around October 2025 at its factory in Talegaon, which was acquired from General Motors in 2023. The new Venue will be the first vehicle produced at this facility.
