The All New 2024 KTM 200 Duke and 250 Duke
Considering the KTM 200 Duke is an essential tool for making the brand more acceptable in India, and that is one of the reasons why. In truth, this MotoGP bike is the most affordable and cheapest one, undoubtedly attracting a much broader audience and further strengthening the studio’s identity. It’s also the studio’s top seller in the domestic market, so it’s critical to stay current, and that’s what the 200 Duke does.
Thereby, two colors, Electronic Orange and Dark Galvano, with exciting new decals, are two new color options that have been given to make it look more appealing and aggressive in nature that appeal to KTM’s target audience. In conjunction with the new additions, the Silver Metallic Matt colorway is still available, which complements the “Ready To Race” brand with a revamped, sporty look.
The engine remains unchanged at 25 PS 200cc. KTM has added WP USD telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock suspension for the rear, as well as a lightweight trellis frame and aluminum swingarm. The brakes are fitted with dual-channel ABS and tires as well, ensuring excellent handling. KTM has retained the pricing of 200 Duke at ₹1.98 lakh (ex-showroom).
Introduced in India, the KTM 250 platform is the middle ground between the 200 and 390, and it is the runner-up in terms of sales. The KTM 250 Duke Atlantic Blue colorway is a combination of elegance and power that is synonymous with KTM’s Ready To Race slogan. The KTM 250 Duke colorway remains at ₹2.4 lakh ex-showroom.
The other two colorways – Ceramic White and Electric Orange, are still available. Although the 250 Duke does not have any mechanical updates, it still has a 31 PS 250cc engine. The 250 Duke has exclusive all-LED lighting, switchable ABS, and KTM’s Quickshifter+, making it the most powerful in the lineup.
In a statement, Mr. Sumeet Narang, President (Probiking), Bajaj Auto Ltd, emphasized that KTM Dukes epitomize engineering excellence, offering exhilarating power, precise control, and attention-commanding design. The new color variants embody youthful audacity and align seamlessly with the aspirations of a new generation of riders.
