AYANEO is the brand which competes with Valve’s Steam Deck and outperforms competing foreign gaming systems from One-OneXPlayer Netbook’s and AOKZOE. The company unveiled the newest AYANEO NEXT model, which features a sleeker design and AMD’s latest Ryzen 7000 CPUs. Surprisingly, the company has yet to reveal the “discrete graphics” employed in the system.

The AYANEO NEXT 2 handheld console retains the same design as the previous generation, with minor changes. The company has taken some cues from the Steam Deck and its construction and design in order to provide more options with the new AYANEO NEXT 2 handheld.

AYANEO improved the thumb sticks to make them more embedded in the frame and changed the directional pad’s cross design to a more circular design.

Two thumb pads, similar to those found on the Valve handheld, are located near the bottom of the front. Other aesthetic changes have been made to improve the user experience.

The AYANEO NEXT 2 will have an 8-inch screen and the “next-generation” AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU. However, the exact model being used for specifics has yet to be determined. Additionally, the company does not discuss the graphics processor being used and will only announce that the AYANEO NEXT 2 will offer “new discrete graphics”.

The AMD Ryzen 7000 mobile CPU lineup includes GPU cores ranging from Vega to RDNA 2 and RDNA 3, but the company is most likely referring to the newer and improved RDNA 3 chip, which will be featured on the Ryzen 7045 ‘Phoenix’ chips.
