The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), IPL 2023, has finally arrived. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the official schedule for IPL 2023, with the tournament starting on March 31, 2023. The tournament will be played in ten different cities and will feature ten teams, with a total of 74 matches to be played over the course of six weeks.

In the past, we have witnessed teams wearing jerseys made of recycled materials, as well as sporting jerseys for important causes. For the upcoming 16th season of the IPL, the Delhi Capitals unveiled their new jersey. Due to Rishabh Pant’s absence, David Warner will be leading the team. The jersey sports the team’s traditional red and blue colours, with red representing courage and blue representing balance. A roaring tiger is displayed on the front of the jersey, while a new sponsor, Green Panel, has also been added. The red colour signifies a bold start, while the blue colour represents the Capitals’ focus on vitality, energy, and youth. Gujarat Titans debuted in the IPL last season and won the IPL in their debut season. Sunrisers Hyderabad have recently launched their new IPL jersey for the upcoming IPL season, which has been well-received by fans. The team’s fast bowler Umran Malik, all-rounder Washington Sundar, and batter Mayank Agarwal were featured in the launch video for the IPL jersey. The new jersey features minor adjustments to the colour texture, with an orange body and black sleeves. Hyderabad has named the jersey “Orange Armour”. It draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the city of Hyderabad, with orange being one of the accepted colours of the state of Telangana.
