England and USA have qualified for the last 16 of the 2022 World Cup from Group B. They will face Senegal and the Netherlands respectively in their first match of the knockout stages.

The USMNT has reached the knockout stages of the competition for the first time since 2014, but face a big challenge to proceed further. England, on the other hand, will face the AFCON winners in a mouth-watering clash.

Phil Foden started his first game for the Three Lions in the World Cup, and the impact was instant. The Manchester City midfielder scored a goal, while Marcus Rashford scored a brace to cap off a remarkable performance.

As a result, the two youngsters are seemingly undroppable given the impact that they have been making. And despite all the criticism, Gareth Southgate has become the England manager with the most wins in history. A simple switch on the wings caused enough problems for Wales to concede three times in the second half.

Christian Pulisic, on the other hand, scored his first World Cup goal to help the USA to a win. Sergino Dest provided the assist, and was a thorn in the side for Iran throughout the match.
