GeForce Now brings touch controls and Netflix plans to enter the market

GeForce Now offers the chance to enjoy the best cloud gaming, which is one of its biggest features. On your PC or Mac, GeForce Now is currently accessible through Chrome, but it can alternatively exist as a standalone GeForce Now app.

The GeForce Now software is quite functional and offers a genuinely satisfying experience on smartphones and tablets. Now, it makes sense that you won’t always carry a controller with you. As a result, a few games in the GeForce Now catalog already supported touch controllers. GeForce Now added 13 new games to that list this week, somewhat expanding it.

Beyond its current aspirations in media and mobile gaming, it has previously been rumored that Netflix is focusing on cloud gaming, where it has the ability to reach a large audience. There’s already information available about Netflix job postings for game development engineers who are specifically interested in cloud-based experiences.

Mike Verdu, the vice president of game development, bluntly stated that the business is “very seriously studying” cloud gaming at TechCrunch Disrupt earlier in the week.

Netflix wants to make cloud gaming accessible to users and customers through the devices they already use to watch Netflix by leveraging the company’s extensive network.

Hardware specifics were not disclosed. The business might want to market its own controllers or rely on Bluetooth connections, the latter of which is less dependable. Whatever the case, the process is undoubtedly on, and we’re eager to find out whether Netflix will be able to host a trustworthy cloud gaming service.
