Mahindra’s latest born electric XUV400 will be available in blue color. The car debuted a little over two years from now and is set to establish a foothold in the nascent EV genre of India. There is no doubt that Yaya Motors have better readability power in the EV market, as they launched Nexon EV in January 2020 which has turned out as a bestseller. Now, the car is one of the top-selling EVs in India in sales volumes.

Mahindra enters a little late in this EV competition, but there are steady and emerging as a formidable challenger by providing something really very unique that’s quote practical, useful, and not very expensive. Mahindra XUV400: Blue Version

The brand new all-electric XUV400 revolved around such a tweaked mode of the XUV300 platform. The core philosophy design focused on the multimodal approach, wherein there is some elements have taken from XUV300 while others might be followed by the new born-electric Mahindra SUV like XUV.e8, XUV.e9, BE.05, BE.07, and BE.09.

As an example, the headlamps and LE#D DRLs are looking quite similar to the ones using XUV300. On the other hand, the design of the body has panels that’s looking more in line with the structure followed by Mahindra’s born-electric SUVs. The EV contains some key highlights like twin peaks loft in the bronze finish that has been placed right on the center of the front grille.

The car is quite flanked by X lettering that holds the finishing touch of bronze. We have got here some similarities with  Nexon EWV that has 3-point elements on to the front grille. Now XUV400 holds a side-mounted charging port that again is quite familiar with Nexon EV. If we extend a comparison with other Electric cars like MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona holding their charging port just at the front.

Mahindra XUV400: Specification & Ranges

Like its predecessors, XUV400 also offers a comprehensive range of comforts and creatures. As XUV400 there are many spacious like 4.2 meters in length can easily able to accommodate such a larger touchscreen with the infotainment system. The car might hold an 8-inch or bigger screen in comparison with  Nexon V Max which has featured a 7-inch screen.  XUV400 might have ADAS with such top-spec variants available as an optional feature. Till now, there is no such EV has been offered ADAS.

XUV400 is a tough competitor of Nexon EV Max, so Mahindra’s car can range 350-400 km. As a reference, Nexon EV Max featured ARAI certified range of 437 km after a full charge. In XUV400, we can able to reduce the charging time. Ata Motors still experimenting got this feature in Nexon EV to get 0-80% charge just in 56 minutes. The users just need a 50kW DC fast charger.

Mahindra XUV400: Price

After the rumors and updates, Mahindra XUV400 all-electric SUV will be available in the price range of Rs 15-20 lakh.
