Nothing Phone (1) hardware issues reported by users

Nothing recently launched the Nothing Phone (1), the company’s first Android smartphone. The phone has been one of the most talked about smartphones of late, but it is undoubtedly not without its own problems.  Several users have taken to Twitter, Reddit, and other forums to complain about display issues with their shiny new Nothing Phone (1).

Turns out, that some Nothing Phone (1) phones have multiple hardware-level issues. Let’s take a look.

Nothing Phone (1) issues reported so far

Buyers who pre-ordered the device through Flipkart have started to receive the Smartphone and it is reported that the device is having hardware problems. It is said that the smartphone is having a green tint problem and the same is not new for the brands launching devices with AMOLED panels.

A green color issue for companies launching devices with AMOLED panels is, “nothing” new. The Nothing Phone (1) joins the list of cellphones that have suffered the same fate in the past. As the name suggests, the green tint problem is a defect in the device’s display as the darker parts of the display take on a green tint.

While the Nothing team has already acknowledged the issues and the ones affected will most likely get a replacement unit, it is still a tad disappointing to see a brand’s pilot smartphone showing such issues. So far, Nothing has not issued official guidance on what one should do if their Nothing Phone (1) shows similar signs of issues. We can only hope that the next crop of the Nothing Phone (1) produced from the factories is free from these issues.

Apart from that, it is also reported that people are facing issues with the front-facing camera as well. It is suggesting that the device is having poor manufacturing process.

Now comes the importance of service centers the company did not clarify the service centers. Nothing has to respond to these problems and the company needs to offer a good solution at the earliest.
