The 2022 Xiaomi Book Pro: Intel Alder Lake, 16-in OLED Display, and Nvidia RTX 2050 GPUs

The Book Pro, a line of high-end laptops from Xiaomi, has been released and features 14- and 16-inch OLED displays. With the Intel Gen Core i5-1240P Alder Lake CPUs, which have four Performance Cores and eight Efficient hybrid cores, the business expects to refresh the range with newer CPUs, GPUs, and next-generation displays. The power consumption of this processor ranges from 28 to 64 W.

For this new range, Xiaomi is changing its CPU architecture, moving away from the Tiger Lake-H35 processors that are typically found in the company’s Book Pro series as of 2021. The new line of laptops is regarded as a subseries of the Intel EVO line. The new 14- and 16-inch models will come with 512GB of PCIe 4.0 SSD and 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

Another feature of the Xiaomi Book Pro 2022 series is its CNC-cut chassis, which is only 14.9 mm thick.

An important improvement to the Book Pro series was the company’s switch to OLEDs for their laptops. The 16-inch series has a larger 4K screen while the 14-inch laptop only has a 2.8K resolution. The Xiaomi Book Pro 2022 versions continue to have touch controls and a 600 nit brightness.

The addition of 0.33 Delta-E color accuracy panels in the new series, which also offer coverage of the entire DCI-P3 color gamut, is another highlight of the series. Although the refresh rate has not been disclosed by the business, it is anticipated to be 60 Hz.

Depending on the model the customer chooses, the Xiaomi Book Pro laptops for 2022 will retail for 5899 RMB for the 14-inch version and 8499 RMB for the 16-inch modification. Since the Xiaomi Book Pro brand is only available in the Chinese market, there won’t be any listings there.
