Apple’s iPhone 14 Series will be in heavy demand in China, as per a survey that was carried out by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who claims that suppliers and retailers are paying higher deposits in order to pre-pay for the first batch of iPhone 14 Series units.

In some regions, the deposit is rumoured to be double the amount that the phone is expected to be priced at.

iPhone 14 Series will officially debut in September:

Apple‘s latest iteration of its flagship lineup will debut in September this year but its demand will be higher than the previous generation. Their next-gen smartphones have been subject to multiple leaks and rumors. China is one of the top markets for Apple as it solely is responsible for a fifth of the company’s total revenue.

Kuo claims that the expected increase in demand for Apple’s 14th smartphone series is to make sure that there is adequate supply. The analyst has added that the iPhone 14 shipment’s forecast of component suppliers and EMS is nearly around 100 million units in the second half of 2022, the increased demand will reduce the risk of order cuts after the iPhone 14 officially launches.

Apple’s smartphones are becoming more and more popular every year, as per leaks and rumors in the past, the upcoming lineup of smartphones will be subject to a major redesign since the iPhone 10 that launched in 2017. This has led to a higher demand for the phones and thus, the increased demand for their upcoming flagship lineup comes as no surprise.
