Zynga, Inc. and Lucasfilm Games debuted a new gameplay trailer for Star Wars: Hunters today. This trailer highlights some of the gameplay elements included in the upcoming competitive arena fighting game. The game is now available in certain areas on Google Play for Android devices, and it will be accessible in the App Store early next year.
The trailer shows you some of the competitive arenas and the vast cast of Hunters vying for glory in Vespaara’s in-game sporting complex. The trailer pays great emphasis to each combatant’s distinct fighting technique.
Rieve and J-3DI’s lightsaber proficiency, Zaina and Sentinel’s deadeye blaster accuracy, Imara Vex’s armory of bounty hunting equipment, Grozz’s physical strength, Slingshot’s cunning tech, and Utooni’s resourceful utilization of scavenged bits are all seen. As a result, the Arena is transformed into a battleground for epic 4 x 4 combat.

Today’s gameplay reveal gives players their first look at the Hunters in action, showcasing eight of the dynamic characters which will be available at launch. Our teams at NaturalMotion and Boss Alien are excited for fans to enter the fray and compete for galaxy-wide glory in the Arena next year.
The events of Star Wars: Hunters take place following the fall of the Galactic Empire. Players compete in teams of four in arena settings inspired by legendary Star Wars locations. In an action game that immerses players in fast-paced and aesthetically spectacular Star Wars warfare, gamers will compete as daring bounty hunters, heroes of the Rebellion, and holdouts of the fallen Empire.
In 2022, the game will be offered as a free download for Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS users. The game will also feature cross-platform play across all platforms. It’s worth mentioning that you don’t need a Nintendo Switch Online membership to play the game. Players can pre-register now to help attain new goals that will unlock exclusive in-game content when Star Wars: Hunters is released.
