Tennis player Alexander Zverev ended an amazing year with a major victory(ATP finals) over Daniil Medvedev. Zverev won Olympics gold earlier this year and stuck to his title in the straight sets over the reigning US Open championship.

Alexander Zverev got his second Nitto ATP Finals title Sunday and got position 2 in the world beating Daniil Medvedev. His scores were 6-4, 6-4 to his end standout 2021 season. He even defeated World’s No. 1 tennis player Novak Djokovicin semifinals. The 24 year old won the game after 75 minutes.

Zverev is the fourth player in the history of this tournament to earn seemi-final and final wins over the best two players in FedEx and ATP Rankings.

Zverev in his interview stated “It was great.I won the [Nitto ATP] Finals, in the final against someone I had lost five times in a row, so I had to play one of my best matches. I am happy about that and happy to go on holiday with this win.”

The star of the game Zverev feels that there was no better way to end the season than winning it. He expressed his joy in media and is looking forward to next season.

He has now 59 victories in this year, uplifting the ATP Head2Head series at 6-6. Earlier, in 2021, the World No.3 player got two ATP Masters 1000 crowns in Madrid and Cincinnati. He even won gold in Tokyo Olympic (singles game). He defeated Acapulco and Vienna in past and won 32 matches out of 36 since Wimbledon.

The 24-year-old played consistently and on the first set, hit spots as he won 89 per cent which is 16 out of 18 points behind his first delivery.

Four platforms/channels have signed with ATP Tour to broadcast the finale .

They are iQiyi, Viacom 18, Voot, EMTEK/Vidio and Measat.
