Samsung schedules Galaxy Unpacked 2021 Part 2 event on October 20th

Samsung has announced a surprise Galaxy Unpacked event which will happen later this month. The company published a video invitation for the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 Part 2 event on YouTube. While the company didn’t reveal what it will announce during the event, it is expected that the South Korean firm could announce the Galaxy S21 FE and the Galaxy Tab S8.

The Galaxy Unpacked 2021 Part 2 event will be held online on October 20, 2021, at 10 AM ET. You can watch the event’s live video stream via Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and YouTube. In the event invite, Samsung says, “Our users are multifaceted and live life in so many colorful, interesting, and unique ways. As such, the technology they use every day should reflect their individuality. Join Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 on October 20 to see how Samsung is opening up new experiences for self-expression through technology.”

Although Samsung hasn’t provided any particular details about what it is bringing at the Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 2021 event, the company is reportedly believed to unveil the much-awaited Galaxy S21 FE smartphone or new mid-range smartphones. The new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be a successor to the Galaxy S20 FE that was unveiled in September last year. However, it should be noted that a recent report suggested that the phone may launch in January 2022. Since there’s no confirmation from the company yet, this information should be considered with a pinch of salt.

The company could also reveal new colors for the Galaxy Z Flip 3: Blue, Gray, Light Pink, White, and Yellow. All these colors can be seen in the invitation video embedded below. The new colors could be a part of Samsung’s Bespoke series that usually includes home appliances.

Interestingly, Samsung isn’t the only tech company that is hosting its major launch event in October. Apple is also holding its second virtual event of the season on October 18 at 10:00am PDT (10:30pm IST). Google is also gearing up to host an event on October 19 to unveil the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones. Apart from this, OnePlus is also holding an event to launch OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 TWS earbuds on October 13.
