The Cupertino giant has reportedly released a new Firmware for its AirTags trackers. It is the refreshed firmware that has a version number of 1.0.291 and a build number of 1A291a, up from 1A287b.

If you talk about new features or improvements it brings over the June update, which brought the much-needed anti-stalking features, there’s no word on it.

For updating your AirTag, you don’t have to do much as everything happens over-the-air through a connected iPhone of yours. So, all you have to do is keep the AirTag and your iPhone connected while waiting for the firmware to roll out.

If you want to check out the current version of the AirTag, just use the Find My app on your iPhone to get the firmware version.
