MSI, better known for its motherboards and custom graphic cards, is a world-class PC manufacturer. And the company has officially released its 2021 models for mobile workstations consists of the 15.6-inch WF66 and WS66.
The company is also offering the 17.3-inch WE76 and WF76. These two models have their display specifications up to 3840×2160 IPS panels along with 144Hz refresh rates in the WE76. According to specifications, the WE76 along with the WS66 also have RTX A3000 or A5000 graphics. Various online retailers have already started listing down the four products announced by MSI.
Coming to specifications of the new MSI 2021 W-series workstations we know that the OEM has packed them with productivity-focused attributes, such as Windows Hello-enabled (unfortunately still HD) webcams, along with BIOS and HDD locks for security and TPM 2.0 modules to support Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 11. As for the batter, both the WE76 and WF66 sport the mighty 4-cell 99.9Whr batteries which might be the most useful thing offered in the mobile workstations.
According to the official MSRP, the OEM is offering the WF66 and WF76 starting at US$1,499 and $1,599 respectively. The products are listed at Newegg (for the former) or Newegg and Excaliber. The WS66 now has Amazon, B&H, Newegg, Xotic PC, HID Evolution, CUKUSA, or Adorama listings, starting at $2,599, whereas the WE76 has been released to Newegg, Xotic PC, ZTE PC, Excaliber, CUKUSA, or HID Evolution from $2,699.
