Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G and 5G/Youth Edition launched in China and Globally

On today’s massive launch event of Xiaomi, the Chinese giant has launched the lite version of the Mi 11 smartphone, named Mi 11 Lite and the main thing is that Xiaomi launched not only a 4G but also a 5G option of this Mi 11 Lite. So, let’s have a brief discussion of each of the variant of this phone with the pricing.

Mi 11 Lite 5G/Youth Edition

The newly launched Mi 11 Lite 5G runs MIUI 12 based on Android 11 OS and is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G 5G chipset (5nm based). Regarding the display, this phone offers a 6.55 inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate (protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6).

The SD 780G SoC of this phone is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage (expandable up to 512GB). Coming to the camera section, this phone features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5 MP macro sensor. For selfies, this phone has a 20MP selfie snapper at the front.

The Mi 11 Lite 5G is fueled up by a 4,250mAH battery supported by 33W of fast charging. This phone features dual stereo speakers. In terms of connectivity, this phone has support for Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and so on. Another big highlight of this phone is that it is said to be the slimmest and lightest Mi phone in history as it measures 160.53 mm x 75.72 mm x 6.81 mm and weighs only around 159 grams. It is available in six different color options: Black, Pink, Blue, Green, Yellow, and White.

Coming to the pricing, the Mi 11 Lite 5G carries a price tag of 2,299 Yuan (roughly 350 US Dollars) for its 8GB + 128GB option and 2,599 Yuan (roughly 395 US Dollars) for its 8GB + 256GB option.

Mi 11 Lite 4G

Apart from the Mi 11 Lite 5G, Xiaomi has launched a 4G version of the same smartphone, and that too for the global market. The 4G variant is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The display is similar to the 5G version, but this time protected by the Gorilla Glass 5 instead of 6 and the Bluetooth version is also one step lower, Bluetooth 5.1 instead of 5.2.

The rear camera section is similar to the 5G variant whereas as per the front camera, the 4G version features a 16MP selfie shooter instead of 20MP. This phone comes in three different color variants: Boba Black, Bubblegum Blue, Peach Pink. Other than these, all specs are identical to the 5G option.

Coming to its pricing, the Mi 11 Lite 4G carries a starting price tag of EUR 299 for its 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB variants.
