Samsung Galaxy M02s launched with Snapdragon 450 SoC and 5,000mAh battery

Samsung has finally launched another affordable M-series smartphone in India, named Samsung Galaxy M02s. Samsung M-series devices are typically known for their batteries and lower price range. The Galaxy M02s doesn’t make any difference to it as it houses a big 5,000mAH battery with a price range under Rs. 10,000, justifying its budget-friendly tag. Let’s check out the specifications and pricing of this device.

The Samsung Galaxy M02s runs on the Android 10 OS and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. Coming to its display, this phone features a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCDInfinity-V panel. This phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The SoC of this phone is paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. Coming to its camera section, this phone features a triple rear camera setup along with an LED flash that includes the following sensors combination 13MP + 2MP + 2MP. For selfies, this phone has a 5MP selfie snapper at the front.

The Samsung Galaxy M02s is fueled up by a big 5,000mAh battery with 15W of fast charging. As per the ports and buttons, the power button and the volume rockers can be seen on the right side of the device whereas, at the bottom, there is a bottom-firing speaker with a USB-C connector.

Price and Availability:

Coming to its pricing the Samsung Galaxy M02s carries a price tag of Rs. 8,999 ($123) for its 3GB/32GB variant and is priced at Rs. 9,999 ($137) for its 4GB/64GB variant. As of now, the company has not confirmed the exact date of sale of this device but it is said that the retailing will start soon.
