Ultimate Team is the most heavily promoted mode of FIFA, in each and every season. With FIFA 21 set to be released in just a little over 10 days, EA have confirmed the Ones To Watch players this season.

“Ones To Watch players are Live Player Items that upgrade based on real-world performances”, read EA’s official website.

As of the time of writing, six different players have been confirmed as part of the OTW pack.

1. Timo Werner

The former Leipzig talisman secured a high-profile move to Chelsea this summer. Following his outstanding goalscoring performance last season in the Bundesliga, it will be very interesting to see the German apply his trade to the best league in the world.

2. Hakim Ziyech

Hakim Ziyech was the first player to join Chelsea following the end of their transfer ban. The Wizard of Amsterdam is one of the most creative players in Europe and will certainly make Chelsea genuine contenders for the top three this season.

3. Gareth Bale

A rather surprising inclusion since the players on the list are mostly youngsters. Gareth Bale has won it all when it comes to club football. With the Welshman securing a loan move back to Tottenham, his career is bound to be revived should he manage to stay fit.

4. Martin Odegaard

The Norwegian born youngster is finally a part of the Real Madrid squad. Following his impressive loan spell at Real Sociedad last season, Zinedine Zidane has decided to include the starlet into his plans for the 20/21 season. Over 3 years in the making, the time has come for Odegaard to shine.

5. Thiago

Fans were quite taken aback with EA giving Thiago a rating of just 85. Though it isn’t a bad rating by any means, Thiago is much better than what EA rates him as. With the Spaniard’s recent move to Liverpool, expect nothing but brilliance from the playmaker.

6. Achraf Hakimi

While fans were quite surprised that Hakimi joined Inter following a successful spell at Dortmund, the move makes perfect sense when you look at it objectively. Conte uses wing-backs by default, and one of the most promising wing-backs under one of the best coaches who specialise in the formation will certainly make the Moroccan one to watch this season.

These are only the six players from the OTW pack that are confirmed by EA. OTW will be released in the form of two teams, Team 1 being released on launch day.

Team 2 will be revealed on October 14 and released on October 16.

FIFA 21 will be released globally on 9th October but you can access it on 6th October if you pre-order. For all the EA Play Pro subscribers, FIFA 21 will be available from 1st October itself.

You can pre-order FIFA 21 on Amazon.
