Lenovo has a strong portfolio in the country and has a lot of options in the budget segment as well, now it has the launched a new laptop range named the Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 with the latest 10th-Gen Intel Ice Lake CPUs with Intel’s Iris Plus graphics.
Being, and entry-level laptop series, the Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 is made up of a polycarbonate body with a metallic finish to it. It features 14-inch and 15.6-inch Full-HD (1920 x1080) display with narrow bezels with 19.9 mm thinness. The laptop’s display offers up to 200 nits of brightness along with just 45% NTSC of colour gamut.
There is a webcam on top and obviously a “Lenovo” branding on the bottom. You can opt between a 10th-generation Intel CPU or AMD Ryzen APUs, paired with up to 12GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 256GB SSD, along with 1TB HDD storage options as well.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 also includes dual 1.5W speakers with Dolby Audio support. For security, it features a privacy shutter for webcams as well, helps a lot when you are surrounded by a lot of people and there’s also a fingerprint scanner baked into the power button for better security.
It’s great to see Lenovo has included Wi-Fi 6 connectivity option and Bluetooth 5.1 support as well. The laptop features two USB 3.1 ports, one USB 2.0 port, one HDMI 1.4b port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an SD card reader also.
For battery life, Lenovo promises to provide you up to 8.5 hours of juice on a single charge, which is pretty decent for a budget laptop series. Being just 1.6 Kg in weight, the laptop seems easier to carry as well and you can configure up to Core i7 or Ryzen 7, according to your budget and requirements.
The Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 is available at Lenovo.com and in all Lenovo Exclusive offline stores. The laptop will be available in three colour options including Platinum Grey, Cherry Red, and Abyss Blue. For pricing, Lenovo has kept a starting price tag of just Rs. 25,990 and will go up to about Rs. 50,000 for the higher-end variants.
