Google launches a 2-month Free Stadia Pro trial

If you are the one bored at home due to the world-wide lock-down then the Mountain View giant has a solution for you. Google is offering free access to Stadia Pro, its premium cloud gaming service, for two months.

Anyone who signs up will get two free months of Stadia Pro with instant access to nine games, including GRID, Destiny 2: The Collection, and Thumper. Also you can increase your game library at your own cost and you can continue playing them even if you cancel your Stadia Pro subscription.

On the other hand, if you’re already a paid Stadia Pro subscriber, Google won’t charge you for the next two months. After that, Stadia Pro will cost $9.99 a month, but you can opt out of your subscription at any time.

Google Stadia - The Netflix for Cloud Gaming services

Due to COVID-19 pandemic lockdown and quarantine requirements, more users are playing games and using Stadia to do so. This gesture from Google is very respectable but this opportunity is not available to all Google account holders worldwide.

Currently, Stadia is available for 14 countries including the US, Canada, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Obviously, users will also be able to play in 1080p but not in 4K to reduce the load on the internet. The free Stadia Pro subscription offer has started from yesterday and rolling out over the next 48 hours.
