Recently in May 2018 Realme, which is a sub brand of Oppo released a smartphone Realme 1 which is a great success in the smart phone market. The new company is able to capture the market in the presence of big companies like Xiomi, Motorola,10or, Asus and many other companies.

Due to this immense success, Realme is breaking away from Oppo to become an independent brand headed by Sky Li, former Global VP of Oppo.

However, this is not the first time that an Oppo excecutive have left the main company to form an independent company . Previously it was Pete Lau who started One plus . Now One plus is one of the top global smartphone brand.

According to the letter posted on Facebook, Sky Li , founder of global CEO Realme said

” Before leaving Oppo officially, I’ve been in charge of OPPO’s global overseas market during these past few years, leading OPPO to grow from the business available in 3 markets to one that covers 31 countries and regions. The overwhelming response and trust from the young generation is something that has encouraged me to launch the new brand Realme.”

 

 

Well, the Only Realme smartphone Realme1 is a absolute hit . They sold 4 lakh smartphones and are able to satisfy the needs of the consumer. The Realme is an independent brand now and hope it will be able to give a tough competition to all the big companies all around the world. The Consumers will surely be benefited with the emergence of this new brand.
