The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), India’s leading fusion of sports and entertainment, is gearing up for its exciting 10th season. Sony Sports Network, a renowned sports broadcaster in India, has secured the live telecast rights for this season, making sure cricket and cinema fans nationwide don’t miss a moment of the star-studded action.

Sony Sports Network secures television broadcast rights for the 10th season of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL)

Kicking off on February 23rd, the 10th season of CCL will host a dazzling array of India’s film industry icons. Attendees can look forward to seeing Salman Khan, Kichcha Sudeepa, Sohail Khan, Akhil Akkineni, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sonu Sood, Manoj Tiwari, Aarya, Jisshu Sengupta, Riteish Deshmukh, among others, on the field. The tournament will be held across various locations, including Sharjah in the UAE, and Indian cities like Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Trivandrum, and Vizag, which will also be the venue for the nail-biting playoffs and finals.

Rajesh Kaul, Chief Revenue Officer – Distribution & International Business and Head – Sports Business, Sony Pictures Networks India, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Celebrity Cricket League has won over both cricket and cinema fans with its unique entertainment value. We at Sony Sports Network are thrilled to bring viewers these star-studded moments straight from the pitch.”

Vishnu Induri, the founder of CCL, also shared his excitement about the collaboration with Sony Sports Network. The forthcoming season promises 20 thrilling matches, with eight teams representing major film industries. The CCL, featuring over 200 film celebrities, continues to mesmerize audiences with its unique mix of sports and entertainment.
