Spies, secrets and slow-burn romance make for a powerful opening act. On October 10, tvN’s new drama 100 Days of Deception kicked off with ratings that no other tvN weekend drama has matched this year.

100 Days of Deception: The Premiere Numbers

According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode averaged a 5.3 percent nationwide rating. That’s the highest premiere rating of any tvN Saturday-Sunday drama in 2026, and it made the show the most-watched cable program of any kind on Saturday. The spy romance stars Kim You Jung and GOT7’s Park Jinyoung.

Beating every other tvN weekend premiere this year suggests the pairing of Kim You Jung and Park Jinyoung, plus the spy-romance premise, has plenty of curiosity behind it. The Competition

Terrestrial TV still dominated the night. SBS’s new medical noir Doctor X rose significantly for its second episode and became Saturday’s most-watched program overall at 14.9 percent. KBS 2TV’s Love on the Menu landed a close second at 14.7 percent.

Other Dramas on the Board

KBS 2TV’s A Love Other Than Yours wrapped up the first half of its run at 2.3 percent. Meanwhile, JTBC’s Fly High Butterfly rose to 1.7 percent for the night, and Channel A’s Dive into You earned 0.3 percent for its fifth episode.
