ZOTAC has officially launched its new Gaming ZONE handheld with an AMOLED display driven by AMD’s Ryzen 7 8840U APU. Announced at COMPUTEX 2024, the ZOTAC GAMING ZONE is now open for pre-orders in select regions and on various e-commerce platforms.

Its feature of higher hardware quality and control features make it unique from the ZOTAC GAMING ZONE. This device is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor paired with Radeon 780M integrated graphics which provide you excellent gaming experience. The handheld features a 7-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a much-needed refresh rate of 120Hz and 800 nits of brightness.
Inside, the device is packed with a tasteful collection of high-end controls created for both accuracy and comfort. These come in the form of Hall Effect triggers, analog sticks, and dual trackpads as well as fully customizable two-stage triggers for more precise input. The device also has radial dials that can adjust systems on the go. Going back to the topic of gaming, it makes for a good grip and controls with that full-size symmetric controller layout and rear macro buttons.
Created by ZOTAC, the dual USB4 ports and Bluetooth 5.2 plus Wi-Fi 6E-enabled ZOTAC GAMING ZONE provide rapid network connections for high-speed gaming with ultra-fast peripheral support. It also comes with a built-in kickstand for better viewing angles, plus one month of free Xbox Game Pass to get you started.
For storage, the ZONE comes with a 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD and a UHS-II microSD card reader. It also supports AMD’s Fluid Motion Frames and FidelityFX Super Resolution technology to enhance gaming performance.
ZOTAC is also introducing two accessories for the Gaming ZONE: the ZOTAC GAMING DOCKING STATION, which expands connectivity and storage options, and the ZOTAC GAMING ZONE Carrying Case, designed to protect the handheld during transport. The ZOTAC GAMING ZONE is priced at $799 and includes Windows 11 Home pre-installed.
