Real Madrid are lucky to have a homegrown coach like Zinedine Zidane. The Frenchman has been incredible for the Los Blancos. He won a Champions League in 2002 as a player and later returned to win a hat-trick of Champions League between 2016-18 as a manager.

Zidane has also won 2 La Liga titles during his two stints with the Spanish club. Many critics have questioned his tactical side of the game, but he has always proved them wrong and shown them how to win in big matches.

Real Madrid have recently won the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie against Liverpool by 3-1 without Ramos, Varane, Carvajal and Hazard among notable names. Zidane trusted in Vinicius and it paid off as the Brazilian scored two goals to give Real Madrid a two-goal cushion heading into the second leg.

Zidane’s former Juve teammate Alessandro Del Piero was on the call as he spoke after the match. He was asked if he missed him [Del Piero] or Italy more.

Zidane told Sky Italia, via Marca: “Both, Italy is in my heart, I spent five years in Turin and Juventus are still important to me,”

“Future at Juve? For now I’m here, we’ll see,” said the Real Madrid coach, laughing with his friend Del Piero.
