Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has said that he will return to coaching “soon” amid links to Manchester United.

The French World Cup winner enjoyed a remarkable spell in his first senior coaching post. He guided Real Madrid to three consecutive Champions League titles. He also won two FIFA Club World Cups and UEFA Super Cups, one La Liga and the 2017 Supercopa de Espana. But he walked away after their third European triumph against Liverpool as he looked to recharge his batteries.

Currently speaking to press, Zidane said “Certainly I’ll be coaching again soon because it’s what I like doing and what I’ve done all my life. “.

Manchester United’s start to the Premier League season has been inconsistent. Then won two and lost two of their first four games. Zidane is linked with potentially taking over from under-pressure manager Jose Mourinho.

It has also been claimed that he’s planning on signing four world class players. If he is appointed as Manchester United’s manager. He will probably sign Toni Kroos, James Rodriguez, Thiago Alcantara and Edinson Cavani. Manchester United’s star player Paul Pogba is also determined to play under his compatriot. The appointment of Zidane would certainly prove popular with the 25-year-old after his public row with the current manager.Despite the early wobbles, Mourinho has made it clear he believes he will still be in a job for the time being. He told that it would be too costly for the Red Devils to sack him. The Portuguese signed a contract earlier this year until 2020.

Even so, should results take another turn for the worse, with Zidane unattached to any club, Mourinho would surely come under massive pressure again.
