## Kim Go Eun Opens Up About Season 3

Kim Go Eun shared her thoughts on what makes this season special, and her words perfectly capture why this show has always stood apart from typical K-dramas.

She explained that Season 3 begins with Yumi’s daily life having become all about work — she now faces new dilemmas, doesn’t know what to do besides work, and even when resting, doesn’t know how to relax. Viewers will see Yumi regain her vitality as her cells wake up one by one. [capitalfm](https://www.capitalfm.com/news/tv-film/bridgerton-season-5-francesca-book-infertility-children/)

Kim Go Eun also highlighted the show’s relatability as the core reason it is so loved, noting that the cells don’t make Yumi’s situations overly serious — instead, they make you smile, even if just a small chuckle. She added that this season contains even more humor than the previous ones.

*More humour* than Seasons 1 and 2? Consider us fully sold.

Based on the hugely popular [webtoon](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webtoon) of the same name, *Yumi’s Cells* has always excelled at turning everyday emotional moments into something cinematic and genuinely touching. Season 3 looks set to continue that tradition beautifully.
