Ken Karunaas’ coming-of-age comedy drama crossed the **₹45 crore gross mark** in just 14 days — and the numbers are still climbing.

Tamil Nadu is overwhelmingly its home ground, contributing over 84% of the total gross. But the fact that it pulled meaningful numbers from Karnataka and the Telugu states says a lot about word-of-mouth appeal reaching beyond state lines.

## Why Youth Is More Than Just a Box Office Number

In an era where big-budget spectacles dominate screens, *Youth* is a reminder of what [Tamil cinema](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamil_cinema) does best when it tells intimate, relatable stories. The film features an ensemble cast including Suraj Venjaramoodu, Devadarshini, Anishma Anilkumar, Priyanshi Yadav, and Meenakshi Dinesh — each lending the story a warmth that’s clearly resonating with audiences week after week.

At ₹45.50 crore and counting, the film is on track to hit the **₹50 crore mark by its third weekend**, which would seal a Clean Hit verdict. For a mid-budget Tamil comedy drama, that’s a genuinely impressive run.
