Milan have been in need of a defensive midfielder for years, and they are finally set to land Fofana to reinforce the engine room for Paulo Fonseca’s side. Fofana has been with Monaco since 2020, having joined them from Strasbourg.
His contract with them was set to run out in 2025, meaning the Principality club were at risk of losing him for free. And from the looks of it, both sides are seemingly in a win-win situation.
Youssouf Fofana has agreed a four-year deal with Milan and will sign it officially in the coming days. Now, it remains to be seen how things turn out for the 25-year-old at his new club.
