The 27-year-old has also earned 73 caps for the Moroccan national team, and has scored 20 goals for his country. He is the only Moroccan to have scored in two editions of the FIFA World Cup, having found the back of the net in 2018 as well as 2022.
Now, he joins the likes of Caglar Soyuncu and Allan Saint-Maximin to make the move to Fenerbahce to play under Jose Mourinho. The deal was at risk of collapsing since the player hadn’t accepted the move on his end.
However, the details have now been ironed out and Fenerbahce have a new striker to lead the line as they aim to take the Super Lig title back from their arch rivals, Galatasaray.
