Youri Tielemans Leicester to open contract talks with Tielemans; Arsenal

Youri Tielemans will not be extending his contract with Leicester City any further. The player has turned down contract offers from the Foxes, and his current deal expires in 2023.

The player has a great relationship with Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers, and the fans as well. As a result, he is focused on the project at hand and is committed to giving his best for the club until the end.

Youri Tielemans to leave Leicester City soon

The Belgian midfielder will be leaving the Foxes soon. He only has one year remaining on his contract come the end of the season. If he isn’t sold this summer, he will be able to depart for free in June 2023.

I’ve been told Youri Tielemans will NOT extend his contract with Leicester. New deal bid has been turned down – current one expires in 2023. 🔵 #LCFC

Of course Youri will be professional, he’s focused on Leicester. Many top clubs want him for June.

As a result, Leicester City will be hoping to get a transfer fee for their number 8 this summer. Being one of the top midfielders in the world, we can expect him to be one of the stars of the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old has been at the King Power Stadium since 2019, having made the move from Monaco in France for €25 million. He is currently valued at €55 million on Transfermarkt, and could be the next big sale for the Foxes.

At only 24, he is on the verge of reaching his peak physical years. With him being available on the market for sure, we can expect a bidding war from some of the top clubs in the world in the summer.
