## 1. Thaai Kizhavi (Tamil) — JioHotstar

**Cast:** Radikaa Sarathkumar, Aruldoss, Bala Saravanan, Singampuli | **Runtime:** 2h 24m

Pavunuthayi is a 70-year-old, all-powerful, no-nonsense matriarch who runs her village like a moneylending empire. She’s bold, distant from her children, and completely unapologetic about it. When a troubling incident forces her sons back home, old wounds tear open — and the chaos that follows is both heartfelt and hilarious. Co-produced by Sivakarthikeyan’s banner, this one has real emotional weight behind the comedy.

## 2. Naangal (Tamil) — SunNXT

**Cast:** Abdul Rafe, Mithun Vasudevan, Rithik Mohanraj | **Runtime:** 2h 31m

Set in the hills of Ooty between 1998–2002, Naangal tells the gut-wrenching story of three brothers growing up under a domineering, abusive father. It’s a raw, deeply personal coming-of-age film about survival, sibling love, and the scars that a troubled childhood leaves behind. If you’re a fan of emotionally honest cinema, this one deserves your attention.

## 3. Repu Udayam 10 Gantalaku (Telugu) — Amazon Prime Video

**Cast:** Abhinav Gomatam, Hebah Patel, Chaitanya Rao | **Runtime:** 1h 50m

Already live on Prime! This ticking-clock thriller revolves around a deadly deadline — 10 AM the next morning. Characters find themselves cornered in dangerous situations with no easy escape. It’s compact, fast-paced, and built around nerve-shredding tension. Perfect for a quick, pulse-racing watch tonight.

## 4. Kanimangalam Kovilakam (Malayalam) — SunNXT

**Cast:** Ajmal Khan AA, Kottayam Ramesh, Sminu Sijo | **Runtime:** 2h 2m

A crumbling ancestral mansion. A son who returns after years. Old grudges, buried secrets, and an inheritance war that gets darker by the hour. Kanimangalam Kovilakam blends the horror-comedy genre with genuine family drama, making it a fun yet surprisingly gripping watch for fans of Malayalam’s quirky storytelling tradition.

## 5. Kaakee Circus (Tamil/Malayalam Series) — ZEE5

**Cast:** Rajesh Madhavan, Munishkanth, Arjun | **Episodes:** 7

Who steals from *inside* a prison? That’s exactly the absurd mystery at the heart of Kaakee Circus. A book-loving jailer and an overeager constable must crack the case when a thief breaks into a sub-jail to rob a donation box. Set on the coast of Tamil Nadu, this series promises sharp writing, great ensemble chemistry, and laughs that come from the most unexpected places.

## 6. Haal (Malayalam) — ManoramaMAX & SunNXT

**Cast:** Shane Nigam, Sakshi Vaidya, Johny Antony, Joy Mathew | **Runtime:** 2h 45m

The most emotionally charged title of the week. Asif Kadalundi is a rapper who falls for Maria Fernandez — the daughter of a Christian priest. Their love story is beautiful, messy, and set against a society that isn’t ready for it. Religious divides, family expectations, and raw music collide in this modern Malayalam romantic drama that feels both timely and deeply human.
