Yannick Carrasco has agreed a move to sign for Saudi Arabian club Al Shabab. Atletico Madrid will receive a transfer fee worth €15 million for the player, with a total agreement in place for the transfer to go through.
A three-year deal has been agreed between Carrasco and Al Shabab, and he leaves Atletico Madrid after returning from a spell in China when they were one of the most financially dominant leagues in the world.

Barcelona had included a release clause in his contract if they wanted to sign the player. But, they did not trigger that option and instead signed Joao Felix on loan on deadline day, after the player publicly revealed that he dreamt of playing for the Blaugranas as a child.
After returning from China and spending three years with Atletico, his contract was set to run out next year. And instead of extending his deal, the club has decided to cash in on him and receive a €15 million fee for the Belgian.
He is versatile on the pitch, being able to play as a right winger or left winger, or even a wing-back. The 29-year-old joins a growing number of players from Europe to have made the move to the Saudi Arabian league this summer with the likes of Karim Benzema and Neymar making the biggest headlines.
