A new gaming laptop powered by AMD will be released by XMG in the third quarter of this year, most likely in August. The NEO 15 and NEO 17 laptops’ preliminary information is already out there, but the company representative states that the official press release won’t come out for roughly two weeks.
These laptop series will be compatible with the OASIS liquid-cooled system, just like the Alder Lake-based E22 chassis. This indicates that Cherry MAX Ultra Low Profile active mechanical keyboards will also be included in the series. What’s novel about the NEO 15/17 with AMD CPU is that it will enable virtual reality headsets.
The most potent XMG laptop to date is the entirely new XMG NEO 17 (M22). A high-performance package that has been flawlessly implemented, expandable with the cutting-edge XMG OASIS liquid cooling system, first-class cooling, a 240 Hz fast, high-resolution display (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) in 16:10 format, and a 99 Wh battery, results from fully utilizing the maximum power limits of its high-end hardware.
XMG also provides the ideal gaming keyboard in collaboration with the venerable German company Cherry, using the newest mechanical Cherry MX Ultra Low Profile Tactile RGB switches that provide remarkable precision.
Additionally, this system will have 16:10 monitors with a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a frame rate of 240 Hz. Additionally, the Neo 15/17 2022 will have a 99 WH battery.
According to the most recent XMG roadmap, the XMG NEO and XMG CORE laptops will debut in the third quarter. There are other laptops with Intel Arc processors listed by laptop manufacturers, but there are currently no specifics available.
