At the Smarter Living event 2024 gathering, live-streamed by Xiaomi, the latter unveiled a new series of products. The Redmi Pad SE, Redmi Buds 5A, Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10, and handheld garment steamer were the devices on display. The products will be available soon, expanding the different offerings that consumers can explore.
Within the event, Anuj Sharma, the Chief Marketing Officer, discussed the company’s mission to make technology more approachable and enhance the day-to-day lives of consumers. He stated that Smarter Living & More envisioned combining innovation and aspiration to empower customers to reimagine their lifestyles, work, and play with the AIoT product wideness.
Xiaomi Smarter Living Event 2024: Newly Launched Devices
Redmi Pad SE
The brand-new Redmi Pad SE has an 11-inch WUXGA LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 400 nits peak brightness. It runs on the Android 13-based MIUI Pad 14 system powered by a 6nm eight-core Snapdragon 680 chipset. This tablet includes an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, 128GB of storage dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and various sensors. The Redmi Pad SE comes in Graphite Grey, Lavender Purple, and Mint Green colors. Priced from ₹12999, it will be available for purchase starting April 24. Amazon, Flipkart, and Xiaomi offline stores as well as Xiaomi and other Mi Preferred Partner stores will be offering the device.
Redmi Buds 5A
Redmi Buds 5A earbuds come with 12mm drivers and are compatible with Bluetooth 5.4. They offer up to 28 hours of playback with the case feature Ambient Noise Cancellation, up to 25dB, are IPX4 water-resistant, and are available in Bass Black and Timeless White. Available for ₹1499, they will be sold starting April 29 on Xiaomi store, Flipkart, and Amazon.
Other Releases
Xiaomi also presented the Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10. It boasts laser-based navigation, various cleaning patterns, and a power of 4000 Pa when set in turbo mode. It will be shipped on May 6 for a special launch price of ₹19999, along with a Handheld garment steamer, priced at ₹2299, and featuring 1300W of power and fast heating. Both products offer practical solutions for household tasks, reflecting Xiaomi’s commitment to innovation and consumer-centric design.
