The **120Hz refresh rate on the REDMI A7 Pro** is a notable addition at this price — smoother scrolling and more responsive touch make a tangible difference when using social media or watching content. Both phones carry the **triple TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification**, which is not just a marketing badge — it reflects real-world standards for [display safety](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TUV_Rheinland) in reducing harmful blue light exposure.

The **wet touch technology** is a practical touch (pun intended) — your phone stays responsive even with slightly damp fingers, which comes in handy more than you’d think.

On the storage front, the dedicated **microSD card slot expandable up to 2TB** is a thoughtful inclusion, especially since many phones at this price tier are dropping the slot entirely. The **3.5mm headphone jack** remains, which will delight users who haven’t made the wireless leap.

### AI on a Budget? Yes, Really.

The REDMI A7 Pro brings **Google Gemini** and **Circle to Search** to the table — features that were, until recently, considered premium territory. For students, content consumers, and casual users, having AI-assisted search and smart interactions at ₹11,999 is genuinely impressive.

Both devices also support **IP52 durability**, meaning everyday splashes and light dust won’t be a problem — a welcome assurance for a phone being used through Indian summers and monsoons.
