Xiaomi’s own Electric car announcement in the next week

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi decided earlier this year to build an electric car, and with respect to we have also heard some days ago that China Evergrande Group is negotiating with Xiaomi to sell shares in the electric vehicle division.

It has been more than 5 months since Xiaomi announced that it will build an electric car. However, after the announcement, there has been no news until today. This doesn’t mean that Xiaomi should buy shares of the aforementioned company because it can build cars itself.‌

However, after Xiaomi announced the electric car production in March this year, Lei Jun subsequently visited many domestic auto companies, including Changan, GAC, SAIC-GM-Wuling, Great Wall, SAIC, Dongfeng, Bosch, CATL, etc.

And, now again we have heard that Xiaomi will be building its own car from scratch, and details about the same will be officially revealed by the Chinese company next week. This information comes from the latest report of Science Innovation Board Daily. Along with this, tipster Digital Chat Station has also revealed that the company has been in contact with a world-renowned auto parts and emission technology supplier and is also working on a design plan.

Xiaomi has already denied through a statement about rumors of negotiating with the China Evergrande Group to buy a 65 percent stake. Xiaomi has talked with several carmakers but has not made any decision regarding any partnership for its electric vehicles business Companies spokesperson told.

China Evergrande Group also told that talks with Xiaomi to sell its EV unit are at a very early stage. Earlier, the company had announced that the group was in talks with potential investors to sell part of its stakes, including its EV and property management units.

However, it is worth noting that China Evergrande, Evergrande Auto, and Evergrande Property jointly announced that the company is contacting several potential independent third-party investors to discuss the sale of some of the company’s assets, including but not limited to the sale of the company’s listing Part of the equity of subsidiary China Evergrande New Energy Automobile Group Co., Ltd. and Evergrande Property Group Co., Ltd.
