Xiaomi will ship over 7 million 5G smartphones in India

The launch of a 5G mobile network in India could happen in the coming months. It is estimated that it will take about two years for the 5G network to expand across the country. Despite this, the sales of 5G smartphones in the country are rapidly increasing. Ahead of the 5G rollout in the region, Xiaomi, the largest smartphone brand in the country, says that it has shipped over 7 million 5G smartphones in India from May 2020 to June 2022.

India is the world’s second-largest smartphone market. There is a battle going on between mobile companies over who offers the cheapest 5G smartphone. Realme and Xiaomi have emerged as the biggest players, but people are also waiting for Jio’s 5G smartphone.
