The Xiaomi Watch 2, which was recently seen in European shop listings, may be the company’s next wearable release. It will be a younger sibling of the September 2023-released Pro version.
Xiaomi Watch 2 specifications leaked ahead of launch as listed in European Markets
The live stream reveals the WearOS-powered Xiaomi Watch 2 in all its glory ahead of its unannounced launch. The wearable is likely to come in two color options: black and silver. Unlike the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, its sibling does not have a rotating bezel to help navigate the smartwatch and user interface. However, the rest of the listed specifications are almost identical…
It costs €200 at a few Belgian boutiques, and €250 in a store in Slovakia. The Pro model, which launched at €270 for the Bluetooth device and €330 for the LTE one, can already be easily obtained for €230, therefore we assume the former is the intended price.
Among them is a 1.43-inch AMOLED display housed in a body composed of aluminum alloy (the Pro is composed of titanium). The Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 SoC will likewise power the Xiaomi Watch 2, which comes pre-installed with an undisclosed version of Wear OS. The wearable promises a 65-hour battery life and features more than 150 sports facilities.
The main distinctions between the regular and Pro watches appear to be this and the casing material. The Xiaomi Watch 2 has Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, and NFC for communication. Most importantly, LTE is not an option.
